Why make Connections?
Children in our society are considered incapable of solving problems that matter to adults. Coming up with a business strategy, assessing the impact of climate change policies, charting out a diet plan for a diabetic patient - those aren’t things that children do, right?
Wrong!
At Tuva OIS, children are trusted to solve complex real-world problems. What they gain in the process is not just subject knowledge, but also vital life skills like perspective, empathy, communication, critical thinking, confidence and a lot more.
At our events, children showcase how they built meaningful connections to the real world. Sharing their authentic learning experiences with adults and getting feedback from them makes them wiser and makes them feel proud!
Should you attend?
❌ NO, if…
You think scoring well in school tests is all that matters for your child’s future success and happiness.
You believe that 8-14 year old students are not capable of higher order thinking.
✔️ YES, if…
You want to inspire your child to engage more deeply with school studies, and learn why it’s important.
You want to encourage other young learners as they prepare for an exciting and challenging real world that awaits them.
